Exhibition by Arsēnij Ivanov
LV: 24. novembrī notiks Arsēnija Ivanova personālizstādes atklāšana atmosfēriskā kokteiļu bārā HEX, kur māksla saskan ar garšu.
“Arsēnija darbi ir kā ceļojoša amerikāņu hipija sapņi, kas ir mākslinieka francūža-fantasta no 70-desmitajiem uzzīmēti, bet ataino to, kas notiek tagad."
Mākslinieka stils pārnes skatītāju paralēlā dimensijā, kur gaiss ir vieglāks, gravitācija zaudē spēku, krāsas ir spilgtākas, bet personāži atrodas dziļā introspekcijas procesā, pilnīgi atsvešināti no ārpus pasaules: viņi nekomunicē ar vērotāju, bet skatās kaut kur pāri. Viens no personāžiem ir pats Arsēnijs, mēs varam redzēt viņu guļot savā istabā mākslas darbā “Dream classic”; viņa metaforisko kaujas stratēģiju gleznā “The Cold Chronicles” un rīta paredzēšanu, spēcīgas saiknes sajūtu ar ārpasauli gleznā “Life force”.
Izstādi varēs apmeklēt no 24.novembra līdz 8. decembrim. No ceturtdienas līdz sestdienai no 19:00 līdz 03:00 HEX kokteiļu bārā Elizabetes ielā 2A.
ENG: On November 24, a personal exhibition of Arseny Ivanov will open in an atmospheric cocktail bar, where art connects with taste.
“Arseny’s works are a dream of American wandering hippie from the 60s, drawn by a French sci-fi artist from the 70s about what is happening now.”
The artist’s style takes the viewer to a parallel dimension, where the air is lighter, the gravity is weaker, the colors are brighter, and most characters are in a state of deep introspection, their heir feelings are manifested in the environment. They do not communicate with the observer, but look somewhere atop, not interested in what is happening outside the picture. Arseny often appears in his artworks too. We can see him sleeping surrounded by his household items in a tangled Dream Classic, his metaphorical combat tactics in The Cold Chronicles as well as morning anticipation, a strong sense of connection with the outside world in Life Force.
The exhibition will be open from November 24 to December 8. Thursday to Saturday from 19:00 to 03:00 HEX Cocktail Bar at 2A Elizabetes Street.
