LV: Veidojot gleznu ciklu “Pilsētas eņģeļi”, Ineta Freidenfelde vērojusi sava pagalma “iedzīvotājus” – fiksējot uz audekla viņu drāmas un laimes mirkļus. “Mums apkārt virmo apbrīnojama pasaule, kura bieži paliek nepamanīta. Tā ir mums, pilsētniekiem, apkārt dzīvojošo putnu un zvēriņu pasaule,” stāsta gleznotāja. “Tā brīnišķīgi iztiek bez mums, bet bez tās mūsu dzīve būtu daudz blāvāka.”

Uzsākusi šo projektu pandēmijas laikā, Freidenfelde joprojām turpina savu īpašo dienasgrāmatu. Izstāde aicina Ziemassvētku laikā izsvērt cilvēku iedomāto svarīgumu iepretī “mazajai dzīvei”, kas risinās tepat mums blakus. Būtiska nozīme Freidenfeldes mākslas darbos ir zeltītajam fonam, kas aizgūts no Bizantijas sakrālās mākslas tradīcijas. Zelts palīdz ikdienišķās ainas vispārināt, paaugstināt līdz zīmes statusam.

Ineta Freidenfelde 1998. gadā ieguvusi bakalaura grādu Latvijas Mākslas akadēmijas Scenogrāfijas nodaļā, bet 2001. gadā beigusi studijas LMA maģistrantūrā, glezniecības meistardarbnīcā pie profesoriem Alekseja Naumova un Kaspara Zariņa. Viņas darbi izstādīti ne tikai Latvijā, bet arī Nīderlandē, Čehijā, Zviedrijā un citur pasaulē.

ENG: While creating the series of paintings City Angels, the artist Ineta Freidenfelde observed the "inhabitants" of her yard – capturing their moments of drama and happiness on the canvas.

"There is this amazing world around us that often goes unnoticed. It is the world of birds and small creatures living around us," says the painter. “It does just fine without us, but our lives would be much duller without it.”

Having started this project during the pandemic, Freidenfelde still continues her special diary. During Christmas the exhibition invites us to weigh the importance of humans against the little life that is happening right next to us. The gilded background, borrowed from the tradition of Byzantine sacred art, plays an important role in Freudenfeld's works of art. Gold helps to generalize everyday scenes, raise them to the status of a sign.

Ineta Freidenfelde obtained Bachelor degree in 1998 at the Department of Scenography of the Art Academy of Latvia, but in 2001 she graduated the academy with Master's degree in the master workshop of painting under professors Aleksejs Naumovs and Kaspars Zariņš. Her works have been exhibited not only in Latvia, but also in the Netherlands, the Czech Republic, Sweden and elsewhere in the world.
