LV: "+/- Bērni" by Mailo Štern, Laura Feldberga un Ilze Vēze-Balode. Katrs izstādes autors pārstāv kādu nosacītu sievišķības vai vispārcilvēcisku stereotipu, bet katram ir savs ļoti personīgs stāsts par attiecībām ar bērniem vai to neesamību.
Izstādes objekti veidoti kā atsauces uz sadzīves situācijām un attēlo gan ikdienišķo, gan emocionālo dzīvi attiecībās ar bērniem, izvēršot uz āru to, kas parasti tiek paslēpts un skaļi nepateikts, noklusēts personīgu, bieži vien sāpīgu vai nepieņemamu iemeslu dēļ. Paredzēts, ka skatītājiem, it īpaši jaunākajiem, būs iespēja mijiedarboties ar objektiem, kārtot vai sajaukt priekšmetu izvietojumu, imitējot mājas kārtību vai nekārtību. Tāpat izstādē būs darbi, kas ir paredzēti, lai bērni ar tiem spēlētos un tos papildinātu.
ENG: "+/- Children" by Mailo Stern, Laura Feldberga and Ilze Veze-Balode. Each author of the exhibition represents a conventional stereotype of femininity or a general human stereotype, but each has his own very personal story about relationships with children or their absence.
The objects of the exhibition are made as references to domestic situations and depict both everyday and emotional life in relationships with children, revealing what is usually hidden and not said out loud, hidden for personal, often painful or unacceptable reasons. It is intended that the viewers, especially the younger ones, will have the opportunity to interact with the objects, mix the arrangement of objects, draw on walls, simulating the order or disorder of the house. The exhibition will also feature works designed for children to play with and add to them.
