LV: Igors Bernāts “Dejojiet kalni” [Tūre ar kuratoru pēc pieprasījuma]

No 2023. gada 2. maija līdz 31. maijam galerijas “Bazar’t” telpās t/c “Mols” otrajā stāvā ir skatāma gleznotāja Igora Bernāta personālizstāde “Dejojiet kalni”.

Šī Igora Bernāta personālizstāde ir pārsteidzoši savādāka. Autors joprojām saglabā savu rokrakstu – abstrakciju, smalkās krāsu nianses un orģinālo faktūru risinājumu. Bet šoreiz, pamatā, apmeklētāju apskatei tiek izstādīti telpiskas formas, kas ir papildinātas ar gleznieciskām faktūrām. Gan pats autors nojauc robežas starp ierasto gleznas formātu un klasisko skulpturālo tēlniecību, gan atļauj arī skatītājam ieraudzīt ko vairāk kā  ierasto gleznas formātu. Papildus dimensija iedod jaunu skatu punktu mākslinieka radošajā darbībā. Izstādes kompozīciju papildina arī ierastais formāts – nelielas gleznas, bet tās šoreiz ir kā atgādinājums par mākslas formu sintēzi.

Autors par savu izstādi saka: “Man tā ir jauna sajūtu pieredze, jo vienkopus ieraugu kādu savu radoši piepildītu laika nogriezni, kurā dominē dialogs ar sevi, laiku, gleznieciskajiem izteiksmes līdzekļiem. Formas veido savus noteikumus.”

Mākslinieks savā radošajā darbībā pamatā ir pievērsies abstrakcijai, kurās dominē laukumi, krāsu attiecības un eksperimenti. Viņš nemitīgi meklē jaunas formas, faktūras un eksperimentē ar tām, tādējādi izsakot savas sajūtas un nojausmas.

Kā ierasts arī darbu nosaukumi ir abstrakti un atstāj vietu iztēlei. Centrālā mākslas darba, kā arī visas izstādes nosaukums ir “Dejojiet kalni”. “Saruna klusumā” vai “Visuma poēzija” pasaka ļoti daudz un šie nosaukumi ir neatņemama darbu sastāvdaļa. Kā smalka japāņu haika – atturīgi un eleganti daudzslāņaina un mūsdienīga, dzīves apliecinājuma pilna.

Igors Bernāts ir dzimis Liepājā. Absolvējis Latvijas Mākslas akadēmiju un ieguvis Mākslas bakalaura grādu. Piedalās izstādēs no 1993. gada un glezniecību apvieno ar darbu Rīgas Dizaina un mākslas vidusskolā. Konkursa “Gada glezna” 2017.gada laureāts un Swedbank Private Banking balvas ieguvējs 106 dalībnieku konkurencē ar gleznu “Barselona”.

ENG: Igors Bernāts “Dancing Mountains” [Curator’s Tour on demand]

From May 2 to May 31, 2023, in the "Bazar't" Art gallery on the second floor Shoping centre "Mols", painter Igor Bernats is taking his solo exhibition "Dancing Mountains".

This personal exhibition of Igor Bernat is surprisingly different. The author still maintains his signature - abstraction, subtle color nuances and original texture solutions. But this time, basically, spatial forms, which are supplemented with painterly textures, are exhibited for visitors to view. Both the author himself breaks down the boundaries between the usual painting format and classical sculptural sculpture, and also allows the viewer to see something more than the usual painting format. An additional dimension gives a new point of view in the artist's creative activity. The composition of the exhibition is complemented by the usual format - small paintings, but this time they are a reminder of the synthesis of art forms.

The author says about his exhibition: "For me, it is a new sensory experience, because I see a creatively filled part of my time, in which the dialogue with myself, time, and pictorial means of expression dominates. Forms make their own rules.”

In his creative work, the artist has mainly focused on abstraction, dominated by areas, color relationships and experiments. He constantly searches for new forms, textures and experiments with them, thus expressing his feelings and intuitions.

As usual, the titles of the works are also abstract and leave room for imagination. The title of the central artwork, as well as the entire exhibition, is "Dance the mountains."

"Conversation in silence" or "Poetry of the Universe" say a lot and these titles are an integral part of the works. Like a delicate Japanese haiku - discreetly and elegantly multi-layered and modern, full of affirmation of life.

Igors Bernats was born in Liepāja. Graduated from the Latvian Academy of Arts and received a Bachelor of Arts degree. Participates in exhibitions since 1993 and combines painting with work at the Riga Design and Art High School. 2017 laureate of the ""Painting of the Year"" competition and winner of the Swedbank Private Banking award in the competition of 106 participants with the painting "Barcelona".

Solo exhibition of Igor Bernats paintings ""Dance the mountains"" in the "Bazar't" Art gallery, on the 2nd floor of the Shoping centre "Mols", Krasta Street 46, Riga, can be enjoeble until May 31, every day from 12.00 - 19.00.
