"Creator" Valdis Putniņš
LV: NAGLA ir jaunizveidots izstāžu punkts Latvijas Mākslas akadēmijā, kas vienmēr eksponē vienu īpašu gleznu. Šoreiz izstādīts Valda Putniņa darbs “Radītājs”.
Gleznā izvēlētā tēlu sistēma apvieno sakrālos un laicīgos dzīvības elementus. Darba centrā ironiski ikonizētais vīrieša falls, rosina domāt par cilvēka seksualitātes un garīguma simbiozi, atgādinot par šo lielumu nešķiramību, ceļā uz radīšanas aktu. Tehnika, ko autors aizguvis strādājot ar stiklu, iedvesmojusi viņa eksperimentu glezniecības materiālos. Lai gan gleznas pamatā ir tradicionālais audekls un eļļas krāsa, autora izstrādātā tekstūra rosina domāt par starpdisciplināru mākslas objektu, uzrādot glezniecības plašās iespējas.
Mākslinieks Valdis Putniņš studē LMA stikla mākslas apakšnozares II BA kursa. Absolvējis ISSP laikmetīgās fotogrāfijas skolu, un viņa darbi publicēti FK izdevumā "Latvijas fotogrāfija" (2021). Piedalās grupu izstādēs eksponējot fotogrāfijas un stikla mākslas darbus. Glezniecībā aizrauj konceptuālisms.
RLT ceturtdienā 24.novembrī, NAGLĀ būs iespējams satikt mākslinieku Valdi Putniņu un aprunāties par viņa eksponēto gleznu "Radītājs"!
ENG: NAGLA is a recently created exhibition point at the Art Academy of Latvia, which always exposes one special painting. This time it is Valdis Putniņš's work "Creator".
The character system chosen in the painting combines sacred and secular elements of life. The ironically iconized male phallus in the center of the work encourages to think about the symbiosis of human sexuality and spirituality, reminding of the inseparability of these dimensions, on the way to the act of creation. The artist experiments in painting materials were inspired by working with glass. Although the painting is based on traditional canvas and done by oil paint, the texture developed by the author encourages thinking about an interdisciplinary art object, showing the wide possibilities of painting.
The artist Valdis Putniņš is studying the II BA course of the glass art department of LLA. Graduated from the ISSP school of contemporary photography, and his works were published in the FK publication "Latvian Photography" (2021). Participates in group exhibitions exposing photographs and glass works of art. He is fascinated by conceptualism in painting.
