LV: Pāvels Novaks “Ziedi un Asinis”

Varšavas Mākslas akadēmijas profesora Pāvela Novaka (Pawel Nowak) izstāde "Ziedi un asinis". Izstādes ekspozīciju veido darbi no sērijām “Sajūtu morfoloģija” un “Ziedi”– kopā sapludinātas, tās aktualizē dzīvības un nāves jautājumus.

Darbi no sērijas “Sajūtu morfoloģija” piepildīs LMA aulu ar cilvēka sirds stikla atlējumiem. Tie būs piestiprināti pie tieviem metāla stieņiem tieši sirds augstumā. Šīs stikla sirdis būs novietotas tuvu viena otrai, atdalot tās tikai ar vienu soli, ar vienu sirdsdarbības pukstu, simbolizējot cilvēka privāto telpu un emocionālo stāvokli, kurš acumirklīgi var mainīties, aizskarot personiskās telpas robežas. Mākslinieks savos darbos izmanto trauslu materiālu un spēcīgu simbolu kopumu kā vēstījumu par neaizsargātību pret ārējo faktoru ietekmi.

Savukārt darbus no sērijas "Ziedi" caurstrāvo mīlestība, ticība un cerība, iemiesojot sevī mūžības ideju. Sērijas darbi ir mozaīkas, kuras veidotas no ziedlapiņām, arī no tuvu cilvēku bēru un kāzu ziedu ziedlapiņām, kas liek noprast, ka darbi ir personiski un emocionāli lādēti. Šie darbi ir kā atgādinājums par dzīves ciklu, kurš mijas ar  prieku un skumjām, un to, ka šīs emocijas ir savstarpēji saistītas un nevar būt atdalītas.

"Blossoms and Blood" – an exhibition by Paweł Nowak, professor at Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. It will include work from the series “Sensation Morphology” and “Blossoms”– converging together they delve into questions of life and death.

Work from the “Sensation Morphology” series will fill the hall with human hearts cast in glass. Attached to thin metal rods at actual heart height, these glass hearts will be placed just one step, one heartbeat from each other, representing the private space of a person and their emotional state that can change within a heartbeat, as the boundaries of personal space are disturbed. The artist uses fragile materials and a body of powerful symbols to talk about vulnerability in the face of external factors.

Meanwhile, work from the series "Blossoms" is suffused by love, faith and hope, embodying the notion of eternity. This series consists of mosaics made of petals, including ones from funeral and wedding flowers from people close to the artist – this is personal and emotionally charged work. A reminder of the cycle of life, of joy and sadness alternating, this series highlights the fact that these emotions are interconnected and cannot be separated.

On 30.03.23 the exhibition will be open until 19.00.
