LV: Luīze Nežberte “Clump Spirit”

Luīze Nežberte savā izstādē “Clump Spirit” iepazīstina ar virkni darbu, kas turpina viņas interesi par tēlnieciskām un telpiskām kolekcionēšanas, citēšanas un kolāžas tehnikām. Ja Luīzes prakse varētu atrasties kaut kur starp formāliem eksperimentiem ar objet trouvé un autorības sairšanu mākslinieciskās apropriācijas ceļā, to, iespējams, vislabāk raksturo noziedzīgā darbība “zādzība, atrodot”. Clump spirit tver šo kleptomānisko, tomēr nevainīgo garu: tie ir priekšmeti, kas izgatavoti no lipīgas atbalsta struktūras, pie kuras pazaudēti un atrasti priekšmeti pielīp viens pret otru, tādējādi pārvarot sevi un kļūstot par vienu ar pasauli. Allaž mainīgie clump spirits tādējādi objektivizē pirmatnēju, gandrīz cildenu stāvokli, kurā tiek zaudēta patības neskartība, bezgalīgas mūžības sajūta, okeāniskā sajūta.

In her exhibition “Clump Spirit,” Luīze Nežberte presents a series of works that continue her interest in sculptural and spatial techniques of collecting, quoting, and collaging. If Luīze’s practice could be situated somewhere between formal experiments with the object trouvé and the disintegration of authorship through artistic appropriation, it is perhaps best described by the criminal act ”theft by finding”. Clump spirit captures this kleptomaniac yet innocent spirit: these are objects made of a sticky support structure to which lost and found objects adhere to hold each and against each other, thereby transcending themselves and becoming one with the world. The always-changing clump spirits thus objectify a primordial, quasi-sublime state in which the integrity of the self is lost, a sense of boundless eternity, an oceanic feeling.
