LV: Tekstilmākslas izstāde "SAKNES" 

Izstāde „SAKNES” vērš uzmanību uz mākslinieku pārdomām par savu esību un par apkārt notiekošo. Ar daudzveidīgām tekstilmākslas tehniku interpretācijām un tās nozīmi mūsdienu  tekstilmākslā, kas ir sakņota nacionālā piederībā un iedvesmojoties no tautas mākslas, krāsām, rakstiem, pinumiem un aušanas tehnikām to pārradot mūsdienīgā identitātē. Tradīciju saglabāšana un turpināšana jaunā veidā, sakņu meklējumi cilvēka dabā, būtībā un vājībās.

Izstādē parādīti gan klasiski gobelēna tehnikā austi darbi, gan austi tekstildarbi no netradicionāliem materiāliem, dažādi filca mākslas darbi – filca vēlums un filca griezums, gleznojumi uz zīda, gan neparastas autortehnikas.  

Izstādē piedalās 13 dažādās šķiedras mākslas jomās strādājoši Tekstilmākslas asociācijas mākslinieki

Latvijas Tekstilmākslas asociācija ir profesionālu mākslinieku apvienība, kas dibināta 1994. gada aprīlī. Tekstilmākslas asociācijas pārstāvji ir dažādu paaudžu tekstilmākslinieki. Kā svarīgākais jāizceļ LTA apņemšanās sekmēt mūsdienu tekstilmākslas aktivitātes un veicināt Latvijas tekstilmākslas iekļaušanos pasaules mākslas procesos. LTA kopš dibināšanas brīža ir realizējusi vairāk kā 200 izstāžu projektus Latvijā un sadarbībā ar Latvijas Republikas vēstniecībām ārzemēs, izveidotas izstādes daudzās valstīs: Lietuvā, Igaunijā, Polijā, Krievijā, Vācijā, Beļģijā, Itālijā, Grieķijā, Norvēģijā, Ķīnā, Spānijā u.c.

ENG: textile art exhibition "ROOTS" 

The exhibition "ROOTS" draws attention to the reflections of artists on their existence and on what is happening around them. With diverse interpretations of textile art techniques and its significance in contemporary textile art, which is rooted in national belonging and inspired by folk art, colors, patterns, weaves and weaving techniques, re-creating it in a modern identity. Preservation and continuation of traditions in a new way, searching for roots in human nature, essence and weaknesses.

The exhibition presents both classical works woven in the tapestry technique, as well as woven textile works from non-traditional materials, various felt art works - felt wish and felt cut, paintings on silk, as well as unusual author's techniques.

13 artists of the Textile Art Association working in different fields of fiber art take part in the exhibition.

The authors of the works exhibited in the exhibition are Jānis Bankovičs, Kristīne Celmiņa, Andra Dīriņa, Sandra Dzilna, Dace Grīnberga, Līva Kaprāle, Mārīte Leimane, Ruta Linīte, Tatjana Nežberte, Kristīne Otersone, Kristīne Sīle, Ingrīda Sūna, Ārika Zutere

Latvian Textile Art Association is an association of professional artists founded in April 1994. The representatives of the Textile Art Association are textile artists of different generations. The most important thing to highlight is the commitment of LTA to promote the activities of contemporary textile art and promote the inclusion of Latvian textile art in world art processes. Since its establishment, LTA has implemented more than 200 exhibition projects in Latvia and abroad in cooperation with the embassies of the Republic of Latvia, exhibitions have been created in many countries: Lithuania, Estonia, Poland, Russia, Germany, Belgium, Italy, Greece, Norway, China, Spain, etc.
